Junior Suite rooms at Turtle Bay Resort; located at the end of each hotel wing on floors two through six, are very large rooms (725-square-foot) with comfortable furnitures.
The ocean view is great just like any other rooms at the resort, which you can fully enjoy from the balcony with a comfortable sofa.
Located at the northern tip of the island, the area around the hotel is quiet and calm. Your vacation on the island can’t get more relaxing than this.
* Some of you may know this resort as “Turtle Bay Hilton and Country Club”, which was its name until August 2001.

Review
Interior
2 queen beds in the back, and the sofa in the front is a king-sized sofa bed.
A comfortable sitting area.
The floor-to-ceiling windows give you such stunning views from anywhere inside the room.
We were in awe when we first entered the room. The openness, the comfortable-looking beds, the spacious balcony with a sofa, and the Polynesian/Hawaiian tastes in the furnitures, we loved it.
Balcony
Away from hustle-and-bustle of Waikiki, you get to soak in the less populous, tranquil North Shore.
The balcony with a pair of chairs and ottomans, a sofa, and a couple of small tables.
It’s quite luxurious to have a sofa on the balcony, isn’t it? You can lie down forever.
Just kidding. I actually dragged one of the blankets outside and slept one night on that sofa, just because I could and I wanted to. It was surreal to sleep in the soothing sound of the waves and the palm tree leaves rustling.
At the lobby lounge, you can get all kinds of stuff from muffins to sandwiches to salads to juice to coffee.
View (4th Floor)
The Turtle Bay hotel is located like a cape surrounded by the sea, so all rooms have ocean views.
From the room I stayed this time, I could see the pool in front of the sea.
Though you might think that the 4th floor is low, you can see the beautiful ocean of Hawaii, since there are simply no buildings around the resort.
View of the inland from the same balcony. So you get to see the ocean, the palm trees, and the inland hills all at once.
Bathroom
The bathroom section was big. It has a washbasin, toilet, shower and bathtub, and each one was spacious.
A walk-in shower with a normal shower head coming from a hose and a ceiling shower.
And on the right, you can see a step where you can put your towels, your gears from the beach activities, swim wears, or whatever.
This is the bathtub. Behind the peekaboo window is the bedroom and the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Actually I did not open this window, but now that I realized that I could probably see the outside through it, I should have opened it.
The lighting is bright and the bathroom is clean in every corner. As you can see in the photo, the toilet and shower doors are all bluish frosted glass.
There is another frosted glass door in front of this entire bathroom section, so you can’t see the inside from the living room. But I could imagine some people being bothered by the fact that only a couple of frosted class doors are in between.
Ocean Club – Lounge and Perks
Ocean Club offers exclusive perks including exclusive access to the Ocean Club Lounge, a casually elegant private lounge with stunning ocean views.
At the Ocean Club Lounge, guests can enjoy complimentary drinks and food throughout the day; coffee and a selection of breakfast, snacks, lunch, and appetizers and red and white wines and beer in the evening.
Guests with Ocean Club access will also get:
- Limited access to private lounge
- Dedicated VIP Concierge
Ocean View You Can Take Full Advantage Of
Both in the room and on the balcony, you have chairs, couches, and tables.
This means you have quite a few options how you spend your time and it does not matter if you are inside or outside of the room to take a nap, read a book, or have a quick meal on the table. The room has enough space to let you do everything.
And whatever you do or wherever it is, it comes with the soothing sound of the waves thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Junior Suite rooms let you take a full advantage of your time in the tranquil, less populous North Shore.
