Review
Interior
The spacious living room has carpeted floor. It is a condominium with furnitures rather casual, and it is more like a home in Hawaii than a sophisticated hotel.
Since it was opened in 1979 (renovated in 1995), I had the impression that it was quite old.
This is a sofa bed. When unfolded, it will be about the size of a queen bed.
This is the bedroom.
The view from the bedroom is also very good. The ocean in Waikiki looks beautiful.
View (33rd floor)
View looked much better in real life to be honest.
Ocean looked perfect from the 33rd floor.
Aston at the Waikiki Banyan has two buildings (Tower 1 and Tower 2), and this time the room was Tower 2.
In Tower 1, the direction of the building is different, so I think the view will be different as well.
The hotels nearby stand out because I took these pictures with a wide-angle lens, but when I actually see them with the naked eye, it didn’t really bother me.
Diamond Head is behind the Aston Waikiki Sunset tower.

Looking down, you can see the tennis court and BBQ space.
The common area has barbecue grills (12 of them), a full-sized tennis court where you can play basketball, a swimming pool, a children’s play facility, and 2 Jacuzzi.
It’s quite fulfilling, isn’t it?
Kitchen
This is the kitchen. It comes with an IH stove, microwave, refrigerator and a coffee machine.
There is no problem with cooking as there are all kinds of pots, frying pans and tableware.
You can see the diamond head crater through the kitchen window.
Bathroom
Wrap-up
I think it is more convenient if the washroom is separate from the toilet and shower.
It seems that the toilets and showers are small and the minimum necessary is provided.
As I wrote earlier, it feels like a home living in Hawaii, and I think it’s perfect for a family trip. Recommended for those who want to spend a leisurely time in Hawaii while cooking their own meals.
